COLLEGIATE & PROFESSIONAL SPORTS The Triangle area is rich with both collegiate & professional sports teams including rugby, baseball, football, golf, soccer, swimming, basketball and our local professional hockey team, the Carolina Hurricanes, brought the Stanley Cup home to Raleigh in 2006! We are also located in the heart of NASCAR country with 90% of the teams being based in North Carolina. A 3 hr. drive to Charlotte will allow to to visit the NASCAR Hall of Fame & Lowes Motor Speedway.
COLLEGIATE SPORTS Welcome to the ACC !! Whether you even know who Duke, NC State or UNC are, it won't take long once living here to get caught up in one of the best 3 school rivalries in the nation, especially when it comes time to basketball season! These schools typically also produce nationally ranked teams/individuals in all sports that they participate in.

PROFESSIONAL SPORTS Within the Triangle area, you'll find professional hockey, baseball, rugby and soccer is scheduled to make a comeback. What I like about living here is the smaller hometown feel and its not unusal to see these professional athletes in the grocery stores shopping like everyone else or at the YMCA sitting among the other parents watching their kids learn how to swim. Within less than a 3 hour drive, you can be in Charlotte with its football and basketball teams.

NASCAR Don't be surprised after a move here if during a normal conversation the topic of the last race comes up or you get asked, " and who is your driver?" Many of the drivers are from North Carolina or have their shops here. Personally, I'm a Jeff Burton fan..Go #31!!!
